Messaging Terms
How Consent, STOP, And HELP Work.
Lead Dominator sends texts on behalf of home service businesses to customers who requested a quote or service from that business. This page describes exactly how that works.
Who Receives Texts
Only a person who contacted the business first — by requesting a quote or service through Google Local Services Ads, Yelp, Thumbtack, the business's website, or by calling the business — receives a text. Messages are sent in the business's name and are about that person's request.
What The Texts Are
Conversational, transactional messages about the customer's own request: confirming details, answering questions, and arranging a call or appointment. No marketing lists, no promotions, no bulk sends. See sample conversations.
Message Frequency
Varies by conversation. Typically a first response, replies to the customer's messages, and a small number of follow-ups if the customer goes quiet, on a schedule the business sets. Follow-up stops when the job is booked, the conversation ends, or the customer asks to stop.
How To Stop
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that business immediately. Reply HELP for help. STOP and HELP work on every message, every time.
Quiet Hours
Each business sets quiet hours for text messages, phone calls, or both, applied in the customer's local time zone. Messages or calls that would fall inside quiet hours are held until they end.
Do Not Contact
A business can mark any person Do Not Contact with one tap. That lock cannot be overridden by automation and is only released by separately verified re-consent.
Consent Records
Lead Dominator records the source, time, and content of each request that initiates a conversation, and every STOP request, and retains them as consent records.
Fees And Carriers
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Phone numbers and consent data are never sold or shared. See the privacy policy and terms. Questions: [email protected].
